Wedding Wedding Inspiration

The Stationery, website & colors

The website:

TheKnot.com was user friendly and was a great web source to post our engagement story, wedding details, etc..

The colors:

Black and  gold with some whites and pinks

The planning:

One of my BFFs, Jess, got me this awesome tool to plan EVERYTHING! I joked with her that it was so good that it even gave me anxiety since I’m already a list kinda gal- I make lists for my lists, so this ‘Book of Lists’ ensured that nothing was left undone.

The save-the-date:

Instead of mailing out paper goods, Adam and I opted to tell our loved ones about our engagement via email. Since Adam is super tech savvy, he was able to copy a template online to import pictures taken from our engagement photoshoot in Paris.

The engagement party invitation:

My mother-in-law found the perfect invitation for our engagement party from Wedding Paper Divas. It was black and gold with fun, bubbly writing to go with the feel of the event.

The bridal shower invitation:

To continue with the gold theme, we chose to add in a little color to the mix. My mom and I found a feminine, elegant card on Wedding Paper Divas with  pink and gold accents.

The wedding invitation:

As I looked through different wedding invitations, I knew I wanted ours to be traditional with a modern feel.

The Thank-you’s:

To utilize Adam’s tech savvy skills, we decided to DIY our wedding thank you cards. We found a postcard template at Office Max and used one of Adam’s online programs to insert 6 pictures of us from the wedding and  personalized messages on the back since I am not fond of my handwriting.
