The Cheese Board of my dreams

Last week I had a plan.

And the plan involved cheese.

And lots of it.

I knew I was going to want to stay in on Friday night (since the work week was kicking my butt) and I knew I wanted to make a scrumptious platter of goodness for Adam and I to dig in on.

I made my own spin on a cheese board, as most traditional cheese boards only include meat and cheese.

Since I wanted to add my own healthy twist on this classic, I added veggies and hummus for a nutritional kick.

On our board we added the following:

-Green apple slices

-Organic red grapes

-Sliced cucumber

-San Marzano Cherry tomatoes

-Hummus

-Truffle honey (we snagged this on our honeymood, BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!)

-Blackberry Preserves

-Fruity, green olives

-Pickles

-Slices of fresh, french bread

-Cheeses: a vanilla, blueberry soft goat cheese, a mild goat cheddar & marinated mini mozzarella balls

We paired it with a Pinot NoirΒ from Mark West private label.
