Friday Favorites 5

June 17, 2016

It’s a rainy day here in south Florida.

I decided to nix the umbrella and make a run for it to get my nails done and get some errands done.
I wanted a fun color to bring in summer…It looks a little highlighter-y, but I’ll have fun with it.

For breakfast I’ve been on a berry chia kick.

Mix 1/4 c oats (I used gluten free), 1/2 c nut milk, 1 tbsp chia seeds and 1 tbsp goji berries in a mason jar and stick it in the fridge overnight.

When you’re ready to eat it add in whatever you like! I mixed in fresh blueberries and blackberries.

And now for some Friday Favorites!

I’m loving Trader Joe’s cauliflower rice! You can use it to make fried rice, risotto or even sprinkle some nutritional yeast for an quick and easy side dish.

These chocolate mini cookies are insanely good. I could easily eat the whole box. But, I won’t. Willpower please kick in!!!

****just a reminder: even though these cookies are organic, gluten free, non gmo and vegan, they’re still cookies. Eat wisely 🙂

And if you’re really naughty, dip these cookies in Nutella.

nutella took this to a whole new level

Yogi Tea is perfect for a rainy day or just to simply get some R&R.

This duo Cuisinart coffee/hot water maker. Making tea has never been so easy!

And lastly, these babies. These chocolate chips are perfect to add to popcorn, baked goods, homemade granola bars (click here for my recipe) or to make a chocolate sauce to dip fruit into.

Wishing you a happy, rain-free weekend I hope!

Cheers! xxJ
