And the countdown begins!
20 days until All Hallows Eve 2016!
Here’s how to make this DIY piñata costume…
You’ll need:
For the dress
- one stretchy dress (I picked up mine for $7 from Plato’s closet!) ***Make sure the dress is loose- the streamers and glue will make the dress even tighter, so make sure you have a good amount of wiggle room to begin
- assorted colored streamers (Head to the Dollar store)
- fabric glue or a hot glue gun
- scissors
Directions:
Watch this video to see the step-by-step since I did not take a video of how to assemble.
For the cone:
Optional if you want to be a unicorn piñata
- one piece of any colored construction paper
- streamer
- tape
- bobby pins
Directions:
Make a cone shape out of the construction paper and tape. Wrap a piece of steamer around the cone and tape to secure. Poke to holes on both side of the base and secure on your head with bobby pins.
Here’s my finished product:
Adam wore a faux mustache, sombrero, cigar and poncho.
He really gets into character 😉
My friends are certainly no Halloween ameteurs…
Jess and Bryan as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big, Bad Wolf
Dara and John as adorable Native American Indian couple
and the rest of the gang always brings their costume A game!!!
What are you thinking to dress as this Halloween?
Are you H-ween obsessed like we are?!
Cheers!
