Kale Yeah! Massaged Garlicky Kale

Today was my last day of bliss before heading back to work with the kiddies tomorrow. I am a speech therapist at a school for autism. Even though I’ve missed them so much, I could always be happy with some more time off 😉

So, what’s a girl to do with her last day of rest?

First, I hopped on the elliptical for 45 minutes. Having a workout machine at home makes life so much easier, especially on days where you don’t want to leave the house since its soooo hot outside. #FloridaGirlProblems


Made a bangin breakfast.



Eat some sweet, juicy watermelon.
I bought a huge watermelon yesterday that was bigger than my body. I dove right in and sliced away.


What to do with the leftover watermelon meat close to the green outer shell?

Did a little food shop at the grocery store.

Then, made a kick ass kale dish! If you’re a garlic, kale lovin’ person like me, this dish will certainly become one of your favorites. And, it even wards off the vampires 😜 (I watch too many scary movies.)

Here’s how I did it:

kale, water, red wine vin, tahini, lemon, tamari & garlic

Mince 2 cloves of garlic and throw into a food processor




In a seperate bowl, pour about half the bag of chopped kale
