The adventures of wedding planning

I took a short hiatus from blogging. The past few weeks has felt like a tornado (or maybe that’s just the vertigo I’ve been experiencing 🙈). I’ve just had a constant feeling that I couldn’t catch up. I’ve been in the midst of wedding planning which took over my world for a little, but I’ve got it under wraps 🙌🏼 It felt like I had so many things to tackle and I could not check things off of my seemingly never-ending list of to-do’s. Over the last week I accomplished ordering some items for the ceremony and other details (i.e. accessorizing, wedding bands shopping,

appointments, cake tastings, hotel arrangements, reception decor, song choices, the list goes on).

Love these gold letters from Michael’s Craft Store

Ordered cocktail napkins from theknot.com! They have awesome deals and sales on everything wedding!

Adam had fun with the editing 😂

I don’t know about you, but I’m the kind of person who likes to get things done so I don’t have to waste anymore time thinking about my list of to-do’s. It allows me to feel relief and live in the moment. Now, I feel like I can enjoy the next few months before our big day. We have so much to look forward to, including a dual bachelor/bachelorette party, my birthday, bridal shower and our family is expecting their first child which we are ecstatic about! 🎀

We went to our cousins’ wedding recently which was lovely. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We picked up some cute ideas, but the best idea of all was to see that once the big day arrives it all comes together beautifully and you will have the best day of your life.

Wearing a coat in Florida is not typical, but was a fun accessory!

I recently got back into spinning and I forgot how much I LOVE it! It’s an awesome cardio workout and not to mention major fat burner!!! I walk out feeling lighter, both physically and emotionally, as well as rejuvenated. I’m in the market to get a pair of spin shoes. I’ve been told they really change your ride. 🚴🏽 I’ll let ya know when I try them!

Some recent eats: While Adam was in town we had a sushi date night at Ichiban Saigon. It was a small joint in an odd shopping center, but don’t let that fool you! The sushi rocked! We both had miso soup to start and shared two rolls. Extra ginger pieces and eel sauce for me for dipping of course 😉

I was going through baby pictures at my parents and stumbled upon this picture of me as a kid.

It reminded me to let the wild child out and don’t let the little things or stress get me down πŸ™‚
Hope you had a rockin Monday! Looking forward to a great week ahead πŸ™‚
Cheers! xxJ

DIY for some wedding decorations, such a good idea. I’ll have to go browse Michaels! ☺️
