I asked my 8 closest girlfriends and family to be my bridesmaids.
For the bridesmaids dresses I wanted to keep things simple. I asked them all to wear a long, black dress of their choosing with no embellishments or jewels on them to keep the look cohesive. I figured everyone loves how they look in black and it’s a color you could easily wear again to another event. They all looked GORGEOUS.
And my sister, Rachel, the MOH.
I gifted my bridesmaids with a monogrammed tote beach bag each filled with mini fan, sunscreen and tissues. Inside I put a printed a poem expressing my love and gratitude for these amazing women in my life.
When I asked my girls to be my bridesmaids I sent each of them a bedazzled black ‘Bridesmaid’ tank top to wear on the wedding day while getting ready in the bridal suite. I hired a hair girl to come and do their hair with beautiful curls. It was a fun way to get ready together and hang out before the main event.
All of them groomsmen wore a tux from Men’s Warehouse.
Adam gifted his guys with a monogrammed flask from Etsy.
The guys also spent the day hanging out and getting ready together.
Adam and I are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends to stand by our sides the day we got hitched. Any every other day, for that matter 🙂
What did your bridal party wear? What color scheme do you like?
