I watched this You-tube video (click here) to do my DIY Zombie make-up. Thanks for the video, Jess! This make-up was super easy and a lot of fun to do.

For my hair, I left it au-natural and sprayed some hair spray in and scrunched it to give it a messy look.

Jess did lots of our friends make-up when they arrived. She’s a pro at Halloween make-up!

We threw the party at Adam’s work warehouse. They have a huge space with all of the cool lighting available, so he and his friends set it up!

They had cool purple-y lights, fog machines and set up a freaky background/dance floor with a hanging head.

For food I set up a DIY taco bar with allll the fix-ins.

For the ground beef here’s what I did:

Serves approximately 45 people

-7 lbs. ground lean beef

-3 large sweet onions, diced

-2 tbsp. olive oil

-2 tbsp. butter

-1 bottle of Taco Bell mild sauce

-1 tbsp. salt

-1/2 tbsp. pepper

-1 tbsp. chili powder

-1/2 tbsp. cumin

-1/4 tbsp. cayenne pepper

-1/4 tbsp. dried oregano

-1/2. tbsp. paprika

Directions:  Saute’ onions in butter and olive oil.  Remove onions after they become translucent. Add 2 lbs. of beef to pan and use wooden spoon to separate the meat. Transfer cooked meat into an aluminum baking tray. Continue to cook the beef in batches. Add equal parts of the onion, beef, spices and Taco Bell sauce to two pans. Mix well. Let cool. Cover and leave in fridge overnight. Heat an hour before serving on sternos or a 200 degree oven.
